MORE FOR THE COMMUNITY: FIRST Quezon City Public Library Book Nook NOW in WalterMart North EDSA

The Quezon City Public Library (QCPL), led by the honorable Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, held a ceremonial ribbon cutting, to officially open Quezon City’s first-ever Book Nook in WalterMart North EDSA last October 17, 2023.

True to its vision of bringing the good life to more Filipino families, WalterMart together with QCPL established an accessible community library in the mall that aims to promote literacy and develop a sense of passion for reading in the whole community specially amongst the young. Mayor Belmonte, in her speech, emphasized this further and commended the WalterMart group for the partnership.

WalterMart plans to make the book nook an interesting venue of storytelling sessions and meet and greet opportunity sessions for authors and fans. Quezon City’s Book Nook in WalterMart North EDSA is open from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM daily.
